Prof. Erik Bohlin
Ivey Business School,Canada

Erik Bohlin is an expert in telecommunications policy, an inter-disciplinary topic concerned with the impact of digitalization in the economy and society. Erik holds the Ivey Chair in Telecommunication Economics, Policy and Regulation. Its purpose is to enhance Ivey’s research in the area of economic, policy, regulatory, and investment environments of Canada’s digital and telecommunication market. He is Editor-in-Chief of Telecommunications Policy, a premier journal in the field. He is on leave as Professor at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. His graduate degree is in Business Administration and Economics at the Stockholm School of Economics (1987) and his Ph.D. is from Chalmers University of Technology (1995). He is a Member of the Swedish Royal Academy of Engineering, and Past Chair of the International Telecommunications Society, an inter-disciplinary professional society convening conferences on the evolving digital society and policy needs. The Chair is funded by the Ivey Business School as well as by support, from Bell Canada and TELUS, to Western University.







Prof. Leung Wai Keung
Hang Seng University of Hong Kong

"Dr. Leung Wai Keung currently serves as the Associate Vice President (Knowledge Exchange) and Director of ICAPE at the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. He was formerly the Dean of SCOPE at the City University of Hong Kong, and held the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing and the Director of the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) Program for over two decades. From 1993 to 2001, he was an Associate Professor in the Department of Management Sciences at the City University of Hong Kong. Additionally, from 1997 to 2000, he concurrently served as the Deputy Director of Innovative Industrial Information Technology. Throughout his over three-decade teaching career, Dr. Leung has been recognized with the 8th Outstanding Teaching Award from the City University of Hong Kong and has received the Student Learning and Development Excellence Award five times. He holds a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Doctorate in Education from the University of Bristol, and a Master's degree in Computer and Information Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States."





Prof. Felix Chan
Macau University of Science and technology

Prof. Felix Chan received his BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brighton University, UK, and obtained his MSc and PhD in Manufacturing Engineering from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London, UK. Prior joining Macau University of Science and technology, Prof. Chan has many years of working experience in other universities including The Hong Kong Polytechnic University; University of Hong Kong; University of South Australia; University of Strathclyde. His current research interests are Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, Distribution Coordination, Decision Making, AI Optimisation. To date, Prof. Chan has published over 16 book chapters, over 460 SCI/SSCI refereed international journal papers and over 330 peer reviewed international conference papers. His total number of citations > 22,650, h Index= 75. Prof. Chan is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong. Furthermore, based on a recent research group of Stanford University about the impact of scientists (Top 2% listed), Prof. Chan has been ranked Top 2% worldwide, in 4 consecutive years (2020-2023).




Prof. Liping Wu
Guangdong University of Science and Technology

Professor of Economics (Level 3), certified expert of the Ministry of Education, currently Vice president of Guangdong University of Science and Technology, in charge of teaching and research. Professor Wu presided over a National Social Science Funding Project and also participated in a National Social Science Funding Project; She presided over 6 provincial scientific research and teaching projects; Professor Wu has published 56 academic papers in national and provincial academic journals. She has authored and edited 7 books and textbooks. Professor Wu has won three first prizes and one second prize of Provincial Teaching Achievement Award (Higher Education). She enjoyed the special talent allowance of the Heilongjiang provincial government and was elected as a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions in Harbin. Professor Wu has been awarded as Harbin Model Worker for two consecutive times, and won the title of excellent Communist Party Member of Heilongjiang Province. She was awarded as the Excellent Teacher of Guangdong Province.










Prof. Dr. Xiao Tan
Guangdong University of Science and Technology

Prof. Dr. Xiao Tan is a doctor of law and a postdoctoral fellow in economics. He currently works as Dean of the School of Management of Guangdong University of Science and Technology, legal professor and master's supervisor of the Law School of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. He is also a doctoral supervisor of the Faculty of Business of City University of Macau, and master's supervisor of the School of Business Administration of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, an arbitrator of Guangzhou Arbitration Commission and a mediator of Guangzhou International Trade and Commercial Mediation Center, specially Appointed Mediation Expert of Shenzhen Civil and Commercial Mediation Center, member of the Observer Expert Group of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, lawyer of Beijing Dentons (Guangzhou) Law Firm. He ever served as the Deputy Director of the Institute of Economic Law at Ningbo University, the Director of the Department of Law and Politics of Guangzhou University Sontan College, Professor at the Law School of Henan University.

The main research fields of Prof. Tan are commercial law and corporate governance. He has published 9 academic works and over 80 academic papers in this field. He has led and completed more than 10 national and provincial level projects, and served as an arbitrator or lawyer in over 200 legal cases. He was selected as a provincial-level training target for the "Talents Project" in Guangdong Province and a high-level talent in Guangzhou Municipality. He has been nominated as one of the top ten outstanding young and middle-aged jurists in Guangzhou, and awarded as an "Outstanding Teacher in Southern Guangdong" in Guangdong Province.



Dr. Justin Zuopeng Zhang
University of North Florida

Dr. Justin Zuopeng Zhang is a faculty member in the Coggin College of Business at University of North Florida. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration on Management Science and Information Systems from Pennsylvania State University, University Park. His research interests include economics of information systems, knowledge management, electronic business, business process management, information security, and social networking. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Global Information Management, an ABET program evaluator, and an IEEE senior member.

Jinliang Wang, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Senior E-commerce Specialist, Vice President of Research, Management College in Guangdong University of Science and Technology, Chairman of Labor Union, Secretary of Teaching Staff Party Branch, Master's Supervisor of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, Deputy Secretary General of Guangdong Cross-border E-commerce Industry and Education Union, Director of Guangdong Logistics Industry Association, Expert of Science and Technology in Dongguan . He has published more than 20 papers, including 4 Chinese core papers, 1 SCI and 6 EI papers. He has presided over 1 collaborative education project of the Ministry of Education, 7 provincial education department projects, and 3 social science projects of Dongguan City. As a main member, he has participated in 5 projects of the National Social Science Foundation and Provincial Social Science Foundation.




Prof. Dr. Ka Yin Chau
Faculty of Business, City University of Macau

Prof. Ka Yin Chau is currently the Associate Dean in the Faculty of Business, City University of Macau. He is a Certified Management Accountant and Chartered Engineer (CEng) together with his Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degrees awarded from the UK and Australia respectively. Dr Chau has more than 15 years of industry experience in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and the USA. His research interests are Sustainability, Innovation and Operations Management. He has published more than 70 articles in major international academic journals.

Prof.Dr.Andrew W. H. Ip
University of Saskatchewan, Canada

Prof. Andrew W. H. Ip received his PhD from Loughborough University (U.K.), MBA from Brunel University (U.K.), MSc in Industrial Engineering from Cranfield University (U.K.), and LLB (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton (U.K.). Dr Ip was awarded in 2015 “Gold Medal with the Congratulations of Jury” and “Thailand Award for Best International Invention” in the 43rd International Exhibition of Geneva, and he was awarded the “Natural Science Award ” in 2013 Ministry of Education Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Awards by the Ministry of Education of Mainland China. Dr. Ip is distinguished and visiting professor of various China mainland universities, and Honorary Industrial Fellow of the University of Warwick, Warwick Manufacturing Group. He is Professor Emeritus and adjunct professor of Mechanical Engineering, University of Saskatchewan and senior research fellow of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is a chartered engineer, senior member of IEEE and member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, and members of various professional bodies in mechanical and electrical engineering. He is Editor in Chief of the journal of Enterprise Information System (SCI index), Taylor & Francis; Founder & Editor in Chief of International Journal of Engineering Business Management (ESCI & SCOPUS index), SAGE; International journal of Software Science and Computational Intelligence, IGI Global.

Prof. Dr. Ki Wai Lianne Lam
Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Dr. Lam began her career in Hong Kong with marketing and public relations roles from the Far East Group of Companies and the Palm Island Resort (China) before setting up her own public relations firm handling integrated marketing for clients. In 2003, she was approached by the Cogitoimage Group to become a partner, managing the firm’s Hong Kong and China “Space Branding” business. After graduated from her doctoral degree in 2013, she puts her research into practice and set up Hong Kong Sustainable Society - a non-profit organization dedicated to engage positive thinking to promote sustainable development in Hong Kong. Dr. Lam currently appoints as Professor of Practice at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.




Prof. Jingfu Lu
Guangdong University of Science and Technology,China

Dr. Lu Jingfu graduated with a Ph.D. from South China University of Technology and spent time as a visiting scholar at the University of Montreal in Canada during his doctoral studies. After earning his Ph.D., Dr. Lu pursued a postdoctoral fellowship in economics at South China Normal University. His primary research interests focus on the digital transformation of industries, particularly the digital transformation of the media industry. He specializes in conducting mixed empirical research on digital transformation using both quantitative methods based on big data and qualitative methods based on case studies.







Dr. Peng Sheng
Guangdong University of Science and Technology,China

Dr.Peng Sheng is a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Sun Yat-sen University, followed by a Master's in Software Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Data Science from City University of Macau, his scholarly journey spans both Guangdong and Macau. In recent years, Dr. Peng has spearheaded pivotal projects that have significantly bolstered cross-border information systems within the Greater Bay Area. Notably, he led the "Key Technology Research on Cross-Border Information Compliance Mutual Trust Calculation between Zhuhai and Macau," as well as initiatives such as "Macao Vehicles Entering Mainland China via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge". These endeavors have been instrumental in facilitating seamless information flow across borders in the region.He received accolades like the Young Industrial Talent Award and the Innovation Star of Zhuhai.Dr. Peng is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of data scientists. Concurrently, he continues to advance research in the critical area of cross-border information compliance within the Greater Bay Area.







Dr. Wenjing Cui
Guangdong University of Science and Technology

Wenjing Cui, Ph.D., is currently an academic backbone member in the Faculty of Management at Guangdong University of Science and Technology. Dr. Wenjing's academic achievements include a postdoctoral fellowship in Theoretical Economics at Shenzhen University, a Doctorate Degree in International Tourism and Management from City University of Macau (CITYU), a Master's Degree in International Hospitality and Tourism Management from CITYU, and a Bachelor's Degree in Art Design from China Academy of Art (CAA). 

Dr. Wenjing's main research specialisms include tourism economic resilience, tourism geography, regional security, industrial economic structure, destination marketing, sharing economy, and social media. Dr. Wenjing has led/participated in several provincial-level scientific research projects during her doctoral and postdoctoral period. Additionally, in the past three years, Dr. Wenjing has published 12 academic papers, including three SSCI papers and one SCI paper, based on her research findings. 

As a young scholar, Dr. Wenjing has conducted various exploratory research by combining subjects such as art design, cultural tourism, geographic information systems, and economics. Dr. Wenjing is committed to studying the development of rural tourism and the digital economy in Dongguan, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the Guangdong province from an interdisciplinary perspective.



Dr. Xiaoxiao Liu
Guangdong University of Science and Technology,China

Dr. Liu Xiaoxiao, Lecturer, a backbone member of the School of Management at Guangdong University of Science and Technology, holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from City University of Macau and a Master's degree from Macau University of Science and Technology. Her primary research interests encompass Digital Economy, Technological Innovation, and Fintech Services. Over the past three years, she has led and participated in seven research projects, published six academic papers, including four in SSCI/SCI-indexed journals, and contributed two book chapters. Dr. Liu conducts exploratory research by integrating technological innovations such as virtual reality (VR) and blockchain with disciplines like finance, healthcare, and smart elderly care, dedicated to examining the development of smart wellness and digital economy in the Greater Bay Area from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wu Chun Ho, Jack
The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, China

Dr Wu excels in his role with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) as a researcher with more than a decade of professional experience. Having held numerous roles with the university previously, his expertise precedes him. Previously, he was a project fellow for the RFID Solutions Laboratory, and a visiting lecturer for the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, PolyU, and the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management, Hang Seng Management College. Over the years, Dr Wu worked closely with many industrial partners such as Towngas Telecommunications Co Ltd, Leo Paper Bags Manufacturing (1982) Ltd, Dr Kids Education Group Ltd, and Photon Int. Ltd, to support and contribute to the formulation of their business strategies, operations improvement and new product development. Dr Wu was the recipient of the Big Data Analysis Award from the China & Hong Kong Enterprise Market Development Association in 2014, and the Best Reviewer Award for a journal entitled Internet Research in 2016. In 2015, his biographical profile has been selected for inclusion in the Marquis Who's Who in the World(R) 2016. 

Dr Wu holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial and Systems Engineering, and a PhD in Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering. He also holds a six sigma black belt certification from the Hong Kong Society of Quality and he contributes regularly to research papers in the areas of Internet of Things, Engineering Optimisation and Business Intelligence. In collaboration with several scholars at PolyU, Tianjin University, Sun Yat-sen University, The University of York, etc, his project works and research outcomes have been presented in 10+ international conferences and published in 30+ international refereed journals, such as Information Science, Internet Research, Expert Systems with Applications, Enterprise Information Systems, Industrial Management and Data Systems. He is also one of the authors of IoT: The Basic, Applications and Case Studies (in Chinese; ISBN: 978-986-925-960-6), and System Design and Technology of Biomedical Internet of Things (in Chinese; ISBN: 978-986-84784-7-3). To stay at the top of his field, Dr Wu is a member of IEEE and the British Machine Vision Association & Society for Pattern Recognition, and a senior member of the Hong Kong Society of Quality. Additionally, Dr Wu serves on the editorial boards of the International Journal of Engineering Business Management, and Enterprise Information Systems. As he looks to the future, Dr Wu intends to continue researching in the field of smart logistics and manufacturing.
