Dr. James H.W. Shen is currently an Associate Professor in the Faculty of International Tourism and Management, City University of Macau. He is a Certified Hospitality Educator and has received his MA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, his MSc and Dr. of Hotel and Tourism Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has been teaching hospitality, tourism, event and ESP related subjects. And his research interests are tourism studies, consumer behavior and China hotel and tourism development. Dr. James Shen has around 20 years of both industry and teaching experiences in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.

Prof. Erik Bohlin
Western University, Canada

Prof. Erik Bohlin is an expert in telecommunications policy, an inter-disciplinary topic concerned with the impact of digitalization in the economy and society. Erik holds the Ivey Chair in Telecommunication Economics, Policy and Regulation. Its purpose is to enhance Ivey’s research in the area of economic, policy, regulatory, and investment environments of Canada’s digital and telecommunication market. He is Editor-in-Chief of Telecommunications Policy, a premier journal in the field. He is on leave as Professor at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. His graduate degree is in Business Administration and Economics at the Stockholm School of Economics (1987) and his Ph.D. is from Chalmers University of Technology (1995). He is a Member of the Swedish Royal Academy of Engineering, and Past Chair of the International Telecommunications Society, an inter-disciplinary professional society convening conferences on the evolving digital society and policy needs. The Chair is funded by the Ivey Business School as well as by support, from Bell Canada and TELUS, to Western University.

Prof. Madjid Tavana
La Salle University, USA

Prof. Madjid Tavana is a Professor and Distinguished Chair of Business Analytics at La Salle University. He holds an Honorary Professorship in Management Information Systems and Operations Research at the University of Paderborn in Germany. He also serves on the Scientific Committee of the Doctoral Program in Business and Economics at the Sapienza University of Rome in Italy. Dr. Tavana is a Distinguished Research Fellow at the Kennedy Space Center, the Johnson Space Center, the Naval Research Laboratory at Stennis Space Center, and the Air Force Research Laboratory. He was recently honored with the prestigious Space Act Award by NASA. He holds an MBA, PMIS, and PhD in Management Information Systems and received his Post-Doctoral Diploma in Strategic Information Systems from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He has published over 22 edited books and 370 research papers in academic journals. Dr. Tavana is the Editor-in-Chief of Decision Analytics Journal (Elsevier), Healthcare Analytics (Elsevier), Supply Chain Analytics (Elsevier), International Journal of Applied Decision Sciences, International Journal of Management and Decision Making, International Journal of Communication Networks and Distributed Systems, and International Journal of Knowledge Engineering and Data Mining. He is also an editor at Information Sciences, Annals of Operations Research, Expert Systems with Applications, Computers and Industrial Engineering, Journal of Innovation and Knowledge, Intelligent Systems with Applications, Journal of Industrial and Production Engineering, and Sustainable Technology and Entrepreneurship. Dr. Tavana has been a Visiting Scholar at the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management and has held several Visiting Professorships in France, Italy, Switzerland, Korea, China, Ukraine, and Mexico.

Dr. Yuk Ming Tang
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China

Ir Dr. Yuk Ming Tang works in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is the Lab-in-charge of the Integrated Product Design Laboratory, Deputy Lab-in-charge of Ng Tat Lun Digital Factory, a key and initiating member of the Joint Research Centre for Immersive Learning and Educational Technology (CILME), and Co-PI of the Non-PAIR Research Centre for Assistive Technology. Additionally, Dr. Tang is the President of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) - Hong Kong and a Member of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (MHKIE). His achievements have been highly recognized, as evidenced by his receipt of the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement in Teaching (Individual), Faculty Merit Award in Teaching (Individual) and Service (Team), Distinguished Educator Award, Best Researcher Award, among others. Additionally, he has been nominated for the UGC Teaching Award in the General Faculty Members category.
Dr. Tang's research interests include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), Internet of Things, Digital Twin, blockchain, sustainable technology in Industry 4.0, and healthcare applications. In the span of three years, Dr. Tang has published over 80 internationally referred journal articles, 10 book chapters, edited 4 books, and received 2 patents. His publications are mainly published in top-ranked journals such as Computers & Education (C&E), Expert Systems with Applications (ESWA), Information Sciences, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, and others. He serves as an editor in several renowned journals, including Internet of Things and Journal of Industrial Information Integration. He was a speaker at the Hospital Authority Convention and was interviewed in the episodes of "香港故事_創科夢工場:活在元宇宙" and "Innovation GPS" (創科導航), television programs on local channels RTHK and TVB, respectively.

Prof. Neil Herndon

Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Marketing Channels

Prof. Neil Herndon has been Visiting Professor of Marketing at universities in Hong Kong and Mainland China and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Marketing Channels. He holds the Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Texas A&M University in the United States and is now semi-retired.
His research has been published in the Journal of Business Ethics multiple times, and he has published other papers in the Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Global Marketing, Journal of International Consumer Marketing, Journal of Marketing Channels, Journal of Purchasing & Supply Management, Research in Marketing, and Teaching Business Ethics, among others. His ethics teaching cases have appeared in major university textbooks.
He has given invited presentations about ethics to professors, students, and managers at universities in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Mainland China, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Prof. Herndon has presented papers and served on panels at a number of academic conferences worldwide, including those of the Academy of Marketing Science and the American Marketing Association.
An elected member of the international business honor society Beta Gamma Sigma, Prof. Herndon serves on the editorial review boards of the Journal of Business Ethics, Asian Journal of Business Ethics, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Euromarketing, Journal of International Consumer Marketing, and the Journal of International Marketing.

Prof. Brij B. Gupta
Asia University, China

Prof. Brij B. Gupta is working as Director of International Center for AI and Cyber Security Research and Innovations, and Full Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering (CSIE), Asia University, Taiwan. In more than 19 years of his professional experience, he published over 500 papers in journals/conferences including 35 books and 12 Patents with over 25,000 citations. He has received numerous national and international awards including Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship (2009), Faculty Research Fellowship Award (2017), MeitY, GoI, IEEE GCCE outstanding and WIE paper awards and Best Faculty Award (2018 & 2019), NIT KKR, respectively. Prof. Gupta has been recognized as a Clarivate Web of Science Highly Cited Researcher (top 0.1% globally) in Computer Science for both 2022 and 2023. Additionally, he has been ranked among the top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University for four consecutive years (2020-2024). He is also an IEEE Senior Member (2017) and also selected as 2021 Distinguished Lecturer in IEEE CTSoc. Dr Gupta is also serving as Member-in-Large, Board of Governors, IEEE Consumer Technology Society (2022-2024). Prof Gupta is also leading IJSWIS, IJSSCI, STE and IJCAC as Editor-in-Chief. Moreover, he is also serving as lead-editor of a Book Series with CRC and IET press.

Brian is a graduate of Harvard, HEC Paris, Oxford, John F. Kennedy, INSEAD, Wharton, CMU, and holds a Masters in Management (MM), Master in Science (MSc) and a Master in Public Management (MPM) along with Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA). In 2004, he received a Doctorate (DUniv) from Middlesex University and in 2010 has completed a Doctorate in Chinese Business and Management (DProf). Prof. Brian TO is the recipient of the OBE,Global Private Management Consultant and Advisor Professor of Leadership and Strategy, HEC Paris,Senior Fellow, Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania Hepresently teaches Leadership and Strategy to the State Owned Enterprise Leaders and CEO’s in Beijing and Shanghai, China and Staging for China Business to the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in the Advanced Master’s program; Singapore, USA, and several other countries.
